ADMISSION IS FREEOn December 10, 2011, Griffith Observatory celebrates the last total lunar eclipse of the year with a pre-dawn viewing from 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Join us on the front lawn for this very special occasion. Events and special programs include:
- Telescope viewing
- Stellar Emporium gift store open all day (4:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.)
- Cafe at the End of the Universe open all day (4:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.)
- Building and exhibits will be closed until the normal opening time of 10:00 a.m.
