Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
A piece of a NASA Delta II rocket fuel tank fell over a farm in Uruguay, last month.
The metal piece shows the serial number ID 85677-1G and, according to local newspaper El País, is part of the rocket launched in june 11, 2003, that sent Spirit and Opportunity rovers to Mars.
Uruguayan military wants to send it back to NASA, although the agency shows no interest in retrieving the object.
Gustavo, the kid that found it, says he wants to keep it:
— I found it and now it’s mine.
